Prior to cofounding SH&A, Randy Stanley had sixteen years of actuarial experience, both with major insurance companies and Alexander & Alexander (Aon), where he was Vice President and senior actuary/consulting for the Southeast.
Mr. Stanley has extensive experience in all aspects of employee benefit plan consulting. He has held seminars on advanced pension topics for the Florida Police Officers' and Firefighters' Trustees Conference, Southeastern Actuaries Club, the American Management Association, and the Educational Foundation of Georgia State University. He is a past President of the Atlanta Actuarial Club.

Prior to joining SH&A (1993), Veda Wild was employed for 10 years as a consulting actuary and account manager with WF Corroon/Herget Division. She also spent 7 years with Alexander & Alexander (Aon). She has over 20 years of retirement plan experience, including actuarial valuations, forecasting plan design and administration. Ms. Wild has served as an instructor for Course IV - Retirement Plans: Defined Benefit Approaches and Plan Administration offered by the Certified Employee Benefit Specialist Program.

Prior to joining SH&A (2004), John was vice president of the Segal Company in Denver. Before that he was with Watson Wyatt in Dallas and Foster & Foster in Florida. Prior to attending graduate school, John served as a helicopter pilot in the U.S Army for 6 years. He has 11 years of actuarial consulting experience, including actuarial valuations, plan design, actuarial impact analyses, experience studies, asset/liability models and workshops.
